All The Feeble Grains of Sand...

"Do you not fear and reverence Me? says the Lord. Do you not tremble before Me? placed the sand for the boundary of the sea, a perpetual barrier beyond which it cannot pass and by an everlasting ordinance beyond which it cannot go? And though the waves of the sea toss and shake themselves, yet they cannot prevail [against the feeble grains of sand which God has ordained by nature to be sufficient for His purpose]; though [the billows] roar, yet they cannot pass over that [barrier].  [Is not such a God to be reverently feared and worshipped?]"
Jeremiah 5:22 AMP

I don't know about you….  But whatever storm being faced today or any day, this reminds me that nothing can prevail against the will of God…

"I’m convinced that nothing can separate us from God’s love in Christ Jesus our Lord: not death or life, not angels or rulers, not present things or future things, not powers or height or depth, or any other thing that is created." Romans 8: 38-39 CEB

So calm down…  He's got this!!!

The Right Start

Do you eat breakfast?  Breakfast, as they say, is one of, if not THE most important meal of the day!  If healthy living and clean eating are your mission, try breaking your fast with a meal that contains a healthy protein, healthy carbs and veggies and healthy fats…

I'm sharing my breakfast this morning - this delicious bowl of yumminess has brown rice, 2 crushed hard boiled eggs, green beans, a little feta and avocado, topped with chia seeds and black pepper.  Oh I added a little Spur Tree Spices Scotch Bonnet Pepper Sauce to it too ;-)

Can you say yummy in my tummy???

"Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you? Don’t you know that you have the Holy Spirit from God, and you don’t belong to yourselves? You have been bought and paid for, so honor God with your body." 1 Corinthians 6: 19-20 CEB

The Rubik's Cube

Ever had one of those days when life feels like a Rubik's Cube?  (Remember those?)  I mean a day when no matter how you twist it and turn it, life is an unsolvable puzzle!  Nothing you do makes the pieces fit together the way they're supposed to.
I had one of those days yesterday.  No matter what I did, nothing was working out the way I hoped and wanted it to.   I ended up with a monster-sized headache and crawled into bed, feeling defeated.  I was having a rubik's cube meltdown moment.
When I woke up this morning, in the still, dark, soft quiet of my room, my first thought was, "Uggghhhh!!!  Head and heart still hurting and I am going to stay under these covers and pretend it's still night time!"

But God…  (those famous words, right?)
But God had other plans.  As I lay there, He spoke to me.  He is the One who gave me the image of the Rubik's Cube.  And he said, "Just give it to me…  I will solve the puzzle.  I will put all the pieces together the way they really are supposed to fit.  Let go and give it to me…"

So I did…  I gave it to Him, who is able to 'fix' things as only He can.   In my hands that rubik's cube  is a twisty, turny crazy box of squares that want to go in all kinds of crazy directions, and never the right one.

In His hands, the rubik's cube of my life fits and works just right.  And so I wait expectantly, because He is always faithful to His promises.
His love never fails!

Ephesians 3:20 CEB

Glory to God, who is able to do far beyond all that we could ask or imagine by his power at work within us;
